We're not a referral service or a clinical matching platform. We're a discovery platform, similar in structure to Yelp or Google for affirming businesses. Subscribers find you through Elia, who helps them discover options based on what they're actually looking for. Every listing is free and appears whenever it matches what someone asks for. Sponsorship can add one clearly labeled spot; it never decides whether you appear.
ThreadLight does not list ABA providers. Our subscribers come to us specifically to find care and services outside that model.

We compare what a subscriber is asking for with what each listing offers, and respect the limits they set: where they are, how they want to meet, the language they need, and accessibility. Listings that don't match don't surface. Among good matches, a listing that has passed vetting gets a small boost. A sponsored listing can be shown first, labeled “Sponsored,” but only for searches it genuinely matches.
Listing is free for everyone. Sponsorship is optional, flat, and the same price for every business. There are no per-lead or per-click charges.

The platform's structure is honest about what it is and isn't.
We don't refer subscribers to specific businesses. We don't share subscriber data without consent. We don't allow businesses to write or edit reviews. Sponsorship buys one clearly labeled spot for searches a listing already matches; money never puts a listing in front of someone it doesn't fit, and never decides whether a listing appears.
Yes. Mark your listing as not accepting new subscribers and you stay listed but Elia won't surface you. Turn it back on whenever you're ready.
When people in your area are looking for services like yours, we sometimes add a free listing using information your business publishes, so they can find you. Those listings say “Not yet vetted.” You can claim it for free to keep it accurate, or ask us to take it down from the listing's page or by replying to our email. We won't list you again.

ThreadLight is built around an affirming-care framework. The neurodivergent community we serve has been clear about what "affirming" means to them, and ABA falls outside that framework. This is a values decision baked into the platform.
