ThreadLight is a discovery platform for affirming services, products, resources, events, and jobs serving the neurodivergent community. Subscribers text with Elia, our AI guide, who helps them find businesses based on quality and fit, not who spent the most.
Flat monthly listing fee of $25 for products, services, and jobs. Events and resources are free.
We're not a referral service or a clinical matching platform. We're a discovery platform, similar in structure to Yelp or Google for affirming businesses. Subscribers find you through Elia, who helps them discover options based on quality, fit, and what they're actually looking for. Payment determines whether you appear on the platform at all. Quality determines where you rank in main results.
ThreadLight does not list ABA providers. Our subscribers come to us specifically to find care and services outside that model.
We serve a broad range of businesses and resources.
We compare what a subscriber is asking for to the listings on the platform. We weigh how a business's neurodivergent-affirming practices align with that subscriber, and how well the listing matches what they're looking for. Bad fits don't surface, on either dimension. One of three results can be sponsored, but only among businesses that have cleared the neurodivergent-affirming floor.
Every business pays a flat monthly listing fee. Listing fees don't influence where you appear in subscriber results.
| What you list | Monthly fee |
|---|---|
| Products | $25/month |
| Services | $25/month |
| Resources | Free |
| Events | Free |
| Jobs | $25/month |
In any search, one of three results can be sponsored. Businesses that want to compete for that slot place a max bid; we run a second-price auction among the businesses that already clear the affirming-care floor and match the subscriber's request. The winner pays just enough to beat the next bid, and only when a subscriber clicks.
Sponsored listings are clearly disclosed to subscribers. The other two results in each search are organic, earned by match quality and subscriber feedback. Bidding affects rank within the eligible set. It never affects eligibility itself.
We don't ask you to trust a black box. The same signals that move your listing on the map are visible in your business portal.
The platform's structure is honest about what it is and isn't.
We don't refer subscribers to specific businesses. We don't share subscriber data without consent. We don't allow businesses to write or edit reviews. We don't accept payment for higher ranking in organic results, and money can never move a listing past the affirming-care floor.
Yes. Mark your listing as not accepting new subscribers and you stay listed but Elia won't surface you. Turn it back on whenever you're ready.
Yes. The business portal shows where you sit relative to the affirming-care floor, anonymized post-connection feedback themes, your click-through rate against similar listings, and how you're trending. The signals that move your rank are the signals you can see.
No. The floor is the same for paid and unpaid listings. Money can compete for the one sponsored slot in three among businesses that already clear the floor. It can never buy past it.
In any search, up to one of three results is sponsored. Among businesses that clear the floor and match the subscriber's request, we run a second-price auction. The winner pays just enough to beat the next bid, and only when a subscriber clicks. A higher quality score lets you win the same placement at a lower bid.
No. The baseline listing is a flat monthly fee. If you opt into sponsored placement, you pay per click on those spots only, and only if you win the auction.
ThreadLight is built around an affirming-care framework. The neurodivergent community we serve has been clear about what "affirming" means to them, and ABA falls outside that framework. This is a values decision baked into the platform.
Subscribers text with Elia about what they're looking for. When their need matches your category, geography, and fit, Elia surfaces your listing. Subscribers choose who they want to connect with; we don't push contact info either direction without their explicit consent.
